5.02 The Lie

1. Three years earlier--Fridge, beers, man walking, boat, Frank Lapidus, on the Searcher, the Oceanic 6, plus Lapidus, Desmond and Penny are there, Hurley says they'll find out, Jack says not if they stick to the story, Sayid says it could be a risk, Jack says that it's the only way, they have to do this, they're running out of time, they have to make a decision, Sayid says it's a decision that will affect the rest of their lives, he's not taking it lightly, Jack needs to know if they're with him, Kate says yes, Sun nods, Frank, Jack says sorry he got dragged into it, Frank says whatever they decide, he'll roll with, Hurley says he doesn't think they should lie, Jack says they need to protect the people that they left behind, protect them from Charles Widmore, hired a boatload of people to kill them, faked the plane crash, he won't just leave them alone, Hurley asks Penny to call him off, she says she can't, Hurley says the island disappeared, that he'll never find it, Jack says that no one will believe him, they'll think he's crazy, Hurley says not if someone backs him up, they'll think he's nuts if he tells the truth, but if they stick together, they can make them believe them, doesn't want to spend the rest of his life lying, Sayid says he doesn't want to spend the rest of his life lying either, but he doesn't think they have another choice, Sayid says sorry to Hurley, but he thinks they have to lie, Hurley says he will remember it, someday Sayid will need his help and he won't be getting it.
2. "You know what, dude? I'm gonna remember this. And someday, you're gonna need my help, and I'm telling you right now... you're not gettin' it." Hurley
3. Sayid and Hurley in car, Sayid is unconscious, Hurley is swerving on the road, puts seatbelt on Sayid and crashes, a Police car pulls him over, Hurley asks Sayid what he's supposed to do, the Police Officer is Ana Lucia, asks him what the hell he was thinking, driving like a maniac, asks him why he pulled over, he didn't think, what if she was real, what if a real cop stopped him, they already have pictures of him with a gun and blood on him, she says he has a lot of work to do, needs new clothes, go to safe place, take Sayid to someone he trusts, stay away from cops, do no get arrested, Hurley thanks Ana Lucia, she says Libby says hello, Hurley looks in his mirror and the Police car and Ana Lucia are gone. 5. On island, Rose and Bernard trying to make fire, Frogurt says who cares, any minute the sky can light up, Rose says either help or be quiet, zodiac still on the beach, Juliet says that whatever was with them for the move is along for the ride, Daniel Faraday is back, Sawyer asks where he's been, what his plan is, Juliet says take the zodiac out, find a shipping lane, Daniel says that in order for them to leave, he needs to calculate a new bearing, needs to determine where they are now, in time, Miles says he's going to find them something to eat, Juliet says they'll get water.
6. Hurley trying to wake Sayid up, takes money out if his wallet, goes in gas station, gets a I heart my Shih-Tzu shirt, girl at counter recognizes him, says she knows him from somewhere, she says he's the guy who won the lottery and crashed in that plane, leaves.
7. Kate pulls into same gas station as Hurley is leaving, looks at map, Aaron says he wants to go home, Kate contemplates calling Jack, someone else calls her, unrecognized number, she says she can't believe it's them, they're in Los Angeles, can meet them, be there in half an hour, Aaron asks where they're going, Kate says to see a friend.
8. Ben in hotel, gets box out of the ventilation system, puts it in a bag, Jack comes out of bathroom, looking for something, Ben says if he's looking for his pills, he flushed them down the toilet, Jack says thank you, he was going to do that himself, Ben figured he was, says he's checking out, tells Jack to go home, find himself a suitcase, if there's anything in this life he wants, pack it because he's never coming back, Jack says good, Ben says he'll pick him up in six hours, John's casket is outside in a carpet van, needs to move him somewhere safe, Jack asks if he's dead, Ben says he'll see him in six hours.
9. David Reyes fixing himself lunch, goes into room, puts on TV, previously on Exposé, eats, hears someone knocking on the door, turns TV off, someone at backdoor, Hurley with Sayid over his shoulders.

10. Hurley asks if he's seen the news, if mom is there, David says she's out shopping, that Sayid is barely breathing, Hurley says he was shot by a dart, at the safehouse, Sayid took him there, two guys, shot with darts, they're in danger, not sure exactly who from, doorbell rings, it's the LAPD, Hurley says don't tell him he's there, dad says alright, talks to Police, they leave, killed three people, Hurley says no, Sayid did, dad says call a lawyer, Hurley says they're after him, they can't go public, people are trying to kill them, if they go to a Hospital, they'll find them, dad says they need a doctor, Hurley says he knows what to do.
11. Kate and Aaron in a hotel, Aaron pushes the 31 button in the elevator, they go to a room, Sun answers the door.
12. Ben goes to a butcher, takes number 342, says he has something very important in the van, Jill, needs her to watch it, Gabriel and Jeffrey checked in, Ben tells her Jack is with them, that he's been through a lot, they all have, tells her to keep him safe, if she doesn't, everything they're about to do won't matter at all. 14. On the beach, night, Bernard finally gets fire, but it goes out immediately, Neil Frogurt complains, Rose says to take a timeout, they'll try again.
15. Charlotte tells Dan that she can't shake her headache, Dan says he's sure it will pass, Charlotte says the weirdest thing happened earlier, she couldn't remember her mother's maiden name, Daniel says they've all been under a lot of stress, Charlotte asks if he knows what's happened to her.
16. Miles shows up with a boar, says he found it, it died in the jungle, only been dead three hours.
17. Frogurt says they don't even have a knife, don't have anything, Bernie can't even start a fire, he's not going to ease up, he's tired and hungry, they're screwed, they can't even get fire, gets hit with a flaming arrow. From Lostpedia
    
18. Tons of flaming arrows come their way from inside the jungle, behind the tree line, they all start to run, people get hit with arrows, Sawyer says to meet at the creek, Juliet trying to save people, but Sawyer says they're dead, there's nothing they can do for them. From Lostpedia
    
19. The cops are on a stakeout outside Hurley's house, dad says he was in a mental institution, they think that he's crazy enough to come back home, asks Hurley if he is crazy, either that or he's lying to him, Hurley says he's not crazy and has a really good reason why he's lying to him, Hurley's mom comes home, asks why there's a dead Pakistani on her couch, says he's not breathing, Hurley says he is breathing, they have to go. Mom asks why he's all over the news, Hurley says that everything is going to make sense. Hurley's dad sneaks out of the house with Sayid's body in the back of his car.
20. Kate and Sun, Sun says she's in Los Angeles just a few days, shows her picture of Ji Yeon, says she's with her grandmother in Seoul, hopes someday she can meet her, would be nice to see her and Aaron play together, Sun asks if Kate is alright, Kate says she's fine, Aaron is sleeping, says someone knows they're lying, some lawyers came to see her, two men came to her house and asked for a blood sample, some kind of lawsuit, wanted to test to see if Aaron was her son, wouldn't tell her who their client was, Sun says then they're not interested in exposing the lie, they wouldn't come to her in private, they just want Aaron, she needs to take care of them, asks wouldn't she do anything she had to in order to keep Aaron, Kate asks what kind of person she thinks she is, Sun says the kind of person that makes hard decisions when she has to, like she did on the freighter, says that Kate told her to get on the helicopter, said she'd get Jin, but did what she had to do, if she hadn't, they probably all wouldn't died, instead of just her husband, Kate says she's sorry, cries, Sun says she doesn't blame her, asks how Jack is.
21. David Reyes goes to Jack with Sayid, shows him body in back of trunk, said he got hit with some darts, must've been drugs, Hurley at house, Jack says get him to hospital, David says that Hurley says whoever did this will be after them, he tells Jack, when this over, stay away from Hurley, whatever he talked him into, doesn't have best interests at heart, stay away from his son, Jack leaves.
22. Jack goes to the Hospital, St. Sebastian's, calls Ben, says never guess who just showed up at his door, Sayid.
23. Hurley talks to his mom, Carmen, she asks who Sayid is, thought he was his friend, Hurley says he is, but he has a double life, but he's a good guy, Carmen says he's in terrible trouble, that the news thinks he did it, if news does, everyone does, how could anyone want to hurt him, Hurley says he doesn't know, she says tell his mother the truth, Hurley says they lied, all of them, Oceanic 6 lied about what happened after the crash, they did crash, but it was on a crazy island and they waited for rescue but there was no rescue, smoke  monster, other people on the island, hatches, button they had to push every 108 minutes, never clear why, others had nothing to do with him, DHARMA Initiative, teamed up with others, someone was coming on the freighter, they stole helicopter, then the freighter blew up, six of them were left, that part was true, but the rest of the people who were on the plane, they're still on that island, Carmen says she believes him, doesn't understand him, but she believes him, Hurley says a lot of people died, and now this bad stuff is happened because they shouldn't have lied.
24. "Okay. See, we did crash, but it was on this crazy island. And we waited for rescue, and there wasn't any rescue. And there was a smoke monster, and then there were other people on the island. We called them the Others, and they started attacking us. And we found some hatches, and there was a button you had to push every 108 minutes or...well, I was never really clear on that. But, the Others didn't have anything to do with the hatches. That was the DHARMA Initiative. The Others killed them, and now they're trying to kill us. And then we teamed up with the Others because some worse people were coming on a freighter. Desmond's girlfriend's father sent them to kill us. So we stole their helicopter and we flew it to their freighter, but it blew up. And we couldn't go back to the island because it disappeared, so then we crashed into the ocean, and we floated there for a while until a boat came and picked us up. And by then, there were six of us. That part was true. [Whispers] But the re...[Hurley's voice breaks. He takes a second to regain composure.] But the rest of the people who were on the plane? Back on the island, Sawyer and Juliet together, Sawyer steps on something in the jungle, says they should meet up with everyone at the creek, they hear something in the jungle, see people with rifles, DHARMA Initiative jumpsuits, Sawyer asks who they are, if they shot the arrows, three of them, take Sawyer and Juliet hostage, Jones asks what they're doing on their island. 27. Jack taking care of Sayid at the Hospital, Sayid wakes up when Jack is checking his eyes, chokes Jack, recognizes him, stops, asks what happened, Jack says he's in the hospital, Hurley father brought him, Jack says he's been attacked, Sayid asks where Hurley is, if anyone else knows he's there.
28. Hurley making a Hot Pocket, Ben shows up, he throws Hot Pocket at him, says he knows he's in trouble, he can assure him he's taken care of everything, car waiting outback, Police didn't see him, Hurley says that Sayid warned him, Ben says he's taking him to Jack, that Jack called him, Hurley says he's playing one of his mind games, Ben says they came around when they realized that they all wanted the same thing, to go back to the island, he wants Hurley to go with him, then he can stop hiding, worrying about the stories and the deceptions, won't ever have to lie again, to let him help him, Hurley says never, runs, gives himself up to the Police, says they got him, he's the killer, a murderer, killed four people, killed them all, get him away from there, they cops arrest him, Ben leaves. Sawyer and Juliet in the jungle, Jones says tell him what they're doing, how many of them are there, tell him or he'll cut off her other hand, the first isn't negotiable, Sawyer says he'll tell him whatever he wanted to know, something happened to the island, Jones doesn't listen to him, is going to cut off Juliet's hand, but Locke shows up, kills one of them, Mattingly, with a knife, they turn the tables on Jones and Cunningham.
30. A hooded woman doing math equations on a chalkboard, pendulum, computer, another hatch, map, event window determined, she goes upstairs, inside church or monastery, Ben is there, lighting candles, asks her if she's had any luck, Ms. Hawking, Ben says he's having some difficulties, she says he only has 70 hours, that's what he's got, Ben says he lost Reyes tonight, what happens if he can't get them all to come back, Ms. Hawking says then God help us all.

4.12 There's No Place Like Home, Part 1

1. Cockpit of a plane, one Pilot says it's choppy ahead, the co-pilot is holding a rabbit's foot, talks about the cargo, says it's bad mojo, Ms. Decker, say she'll let them know they're landing, she tells Jack, Kate, Aaron, Sun, Hurley and Sayid that they're landing at a Military Facility just West of Honolulu, it's private, their families are already there, there's a lot of press that wants to talk to them, but as far as Oceanic is concerned, they don't have to speak to any reporters, but Jack says they'll talk, that they agreed, that they just want to get it over with, Ms. Decker says that the press is referring to them as the Oceanic 6, that it's not the best branding as far as they're concerned, but it's catchy. 2. Jack says that they all know the story, if there's any questions that they don't or can't answer, to keep their mouths shut, that they'll think they're on shock, Sun says that they are in shock.
3. The plane is landing, US Coast Guard #1717, Hurley is greeted by David and Carmen Reyes, Sun greeted by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paik, Jack is greeted by his mother, Margo Shephard, no one is there for Kate or Sayid, Hurley introduces Sayid to his parents, Kate holds Aaron and stands there alone, looking around. Rose says the helicopter flying overhead must've been Sayid and Desmond, Sun wonders why they wouldn't land, Jack says they have to follow them, Sun wonders why they can't call, so Jack asks Dan to call, but not to do anything stupid, they hear the Freighties and Frank, putting the helicopter down, five clicks away from the site, when they land, they're going to deploy to The Orchid, Juliet says she didn't hear Desmond or Sayid, Jack asks Kate to go for a walk, Juliet says Jack shouldn't go, that if his sutures rip, he won't be fine, but Jack says he promised those people they would get off the Island.
5. Daniel looks through his notebook, he finds information about The Orchid, he tells Charlotte that they're using the secondary protocol, that they have to get off the Island immediately. From Lostpedia
   
6. Kate and Jack are catching up, Jack says the chopper must've landed, Jack's surgical wound is bleeding, he says it's just discharge, Kate says that most people who lie can't look you in the eye, Jack does the opposite, they hear someone coming toward them.
7. Sawyer, Miles and Aaron run into Jack and Kate in the jungle, Sawyer tells them they lost Claire, that she walked off in the middle of the night, they've been looking for a day, they were hoping she went back to the beach, Jack says they're following the chopper, hoping it's Sayid, Sawyer says he hopes it's not Sayid, because the people from the Freighter just blew up half of New Ortherton, just like Locke said they would, Jack says the helicopter is the only way to get off the Island, that he put Sayid and Desmond on that chopper, that it was his call, his responsibility, that he's going after it whether on it or not Sayid and Desmond are on it, Sawyer tells Kate to take care of baby, Sawyer goes with Jack, tells him he doesn't get to die alone.
8. Ms. Decker leads a press conference, she shows maps of the location of the wreckage, best estimate of crash site, survivors were carried by the ocean's current to an uninhabited island in the lesser Sunda Islands, Membata, on day 103, a typhoon washed up the remnants of an Indonesian fishing boat, including basic supplies, a survival raft, on day 108, the remaining 6 survivors, including Austen's baby, who she gave birth to on island of Membata, used raft to journey to an island called Sumba, came ashore near a village, Manukangga, photo was taken by the local fisherman who found them, once discovered who they were, they were transported to Honolulu by US Coast Guard, has been an extraordinarily trying experience, but they have agreed to answer a few questions, she introduces the survivors of the crash of Oceanic Flight 815. A reporter asks Dr. Shephard, what it was like when the plane hit the ocean, how they survived, Jack says it happened fast, he remembers the impact, the plane filling with water, a group of them got to the emergency exit, got out before it went down, the reporter asks if they swam to the island, Jack says they used cushions, life jackets, they were in the water for over a day before the current took them in, by then there were only 8 left, the reporter asks what happened to the other three, Jack says Boone Carlyle, suffered tremendous internal injuries, died a few days after the crash, a woman, Libby didn't make it through the first week, Charlie Pace drowned a few weeks before they were able to leave.
10. A reporter comments that considering all they've been through, being on an island for over 100 days, they look healthy, Hurley asks if that was directed at him, but the reporter then says Mr. Reyes, was worth more than 150 million dollars before his death, how does it feel to know he'll get it back, but Hurley says he doesn't want it back, says the money was bad luck.
11. A reporter speaks in Korean, Sun translates, she asked if her husband was one of the people that died on island, Sun hesitates and looks at Jack, then says no, he never made off the plane.
12. A reporter asks Mr. Jarrah, if he's aware of the situation in Iraq, if he plans to return, but Sayid says that there's nothing for him in Iraq.
13. A reporter asks Mr. Shephard, now that he's home, what are his plans, Jack says his father died in Sydney, he was bringing him home for the funeral when the plane crashed, even though there's no body, he's like to put him to rest.
14. A reporter asks Ms. Austen, what like giving birth on island, Kate says it was scary, the reporter asks, her son, Aaron, how old is he, Kate says he's a little over five weeks old, the reporter says that would make her 6 months pregnant when the US Marshal apprehended her in Australia for an outstanding murder warrant, Ms. Dekker says that Ms. Austen's legal issue is off the table.
15. A reporter asks Mr. Jarrah, given the amazing circumstances of the survival of the Oceanic 6, if it's possible there are any other survivors from the crash that are yet to be discovered, Sayid says absolutely not.
16. Jack says they did good, Ms. Decker tells Sayid that a woman is outside, says she knows him, but she's not on the list of family members, her name is Noor Abed Jaseem.
17. Nadia is waiting outside for Sayid, he sees her, he's shocked, blinks to see if he's dreaming, they kiss. From Lostpedia

Sayid takes the zodiac to the island, tells Sun that Desmond is on the freighter, he's going to take people back six at a time, that they have to go right now, before the helicopter gets back to the boat, Juliet asks why they have to go to the boat before the chopper gets back, Sayid says the men on the helicopter have every intention of killing them all, Juliet says that Jack and Kate just went after it.
19. Hurley asks when they're going to tell him where they're going, Ben says it's a place called The Orchid, a greenhouse, they're going to move the island, Hurley asks how they're going to do it, Ben says very carefully, Hurley says if you could move the island whenever you wanted, why not do it before the people from the freighter got there, Ben says that doing it is both dangerous and unpredictable, that it's a last resort.
20. Ben stops, gets something that's hidden behind a rock, it's a box, Locke opens it, in the box is crackers, which Hurley takes, a mirror, Ben says the crackers are fifteen years old, and binoculars, Ben uses the mirror to flash Morse Code message to someone on the mountain, he says he's communicating, he gets a message back, says now they can go, Locke asks what he told them, but Ben says it's none of his business. Daniel Faraday says that they need to get people off the island, that he can ferry people back and forth, while Sayid goes after Jack, he can get them there safely, and by the time Sayid gets back, he can have most of the people on the boat, Sayid agrees, says he guesses Dan knows the bearing, Dan says he can take the first group of six people, Juliet says that Sun is pregnant and she should go on the zodiac first, Kate arrives and asks Sayid what he's doing there, says Jack thought he was on the helicopter, Sayid says he knows, that he's going after him, Kate says she doesn't know how far ahead he Jack is, but he's with Sawyer, and she left them about an hour ago, she says Jack has a satellite phone, they're headed for the helicopter, that she can track them, Sayid says they should go, Kate gives Aaron to Sun, who asks where Claire is, Kate tells her to get Aaron on the boat, to keep him safe, Jin, Sun and Aaron get on the zodiac, they leave. Sun is pregnant, she goes to visit her dad, Mr. Paik, at Paik Heavy Industries, her father is talking to his business associates, asks how something could happen, says whoever did it, used five different banks, the men leave, he tells Sun there's complications with the company, nothing she'd understand, asks about pregnancy, Sun says that he shouldn't pretend to be interested, that they both know he hated her husband, Mr. Paik gets angry and says that she will respect him, Sun says that Oceanic paid a settlement for the crash, that it was very significant, that morning she bought a controlling interest in his company, now he has to respect her, he asks why should would do it, Sun says he ruined her husband's life, because of him he was on that plane, that two people are responsible for his death, and he is one of them, that she's going to have her baby, then they'll discuss plans for the future of the company, our company.
23. Hurley drives up to his house in his jalopy, has a bag from Mr. Cluck's, calls for his mom and dad, coconut on the floor, he hears whispers, sounds like the whispers from the island, but it's just a surprise party, it's his Birthday, Kate and Aaron are there, Kate says Jack is running late, Sayid and Nadia are there, Sayid is wearing a wedding ring, the party has an island-theme, Hurley says mom doesn't get it, a DJ is playing music, there's a Geronimo Jackson record, kids wearing jerseys with the numbers 42 and 23, dad wants to show Hurley his present, he fixed the car, the Camaro, worked on it as a memorial to him, gives him a rabbit foot keychain, the numbers 4815162342 are on the odometer, Hurley freaks out, says he doesn't want it, and he runs away.

24. Hurley says if they actually move the island, the dudes with guns will still be on it, says it's a problem, Ben says that he's working on it, but Hurley asks about him, says that he still wants to get off it, Locke says that it's a little late for that.
25. Ben uses the binoculars, says they're at The Orchid, says Charles Widmore knows about The Orchid, that they need what's inside, Locke says Ben said he didn't know why Widmore was trying to find the island, Ben says he wasn't being entirely truthful, shows Locke that Widmore's men are already there.
26. The zodiac gets to the Freighter, Desmond sees Sun and Aaron, but no Claire, Dan tells Desmond that Sayid went after Jack, he heads back for next group.
27. Michael says the engine fixed, sends Desmond to tell Hendricks to try it, Sun and Jin discover that Michael is on the Freighter, Desmond goes to Hendricks, says the engine should be working, to take them to the Island, but stay on the bearing of 305, but Hendricks says there's RF interference with the fathometer, he can't see the reef, Desmond says that not possible because the radio room is down, Hendricks says that something on the boat is broadcasting, that he can't get closer than five miles off the coast.
28. Jack tells Sawyer that Juliet took out his appendix, they get to the helicopter, find Frank Lapidus, says he's the one who dropped the satellite phone, so they could find him and he could fly them out of there, that they have to get off the island, the boat is the safest place to be, men from the freighter went to the greenhouse, to find Benjamin Linus, and they're going to do nothing good with people that are with him, Sawyer says that Huge is with Ben.
29. Jack speaking, Christian Shephard's funeral, he says that ten months ago he wrote what he was going to say at his father's funeral on the back of a cocktail napkin in the Sydney Airport, that he would've hated it, he hated eulogies, that he's saying it not for his father, but for him, he says bye to his dad, that he loved him, that he misses him. 30. "About ten months ago, I wrote what I wanted to say at my father's funeral on the back of a cocktail napkin at the Sydney airport. I don't remember what I wrote, but whatever it was... he would've hated it. [Chuckles] [laughter] My father couldn't stand eulogies. "The only good thing about a wake is the free booze", he'd say. 31. Jack is saying goodbye to people at the door, his mom says she'll see him back at the house, that he loves him, Kate is there with Aaron, says he did well, Jack says that he had a lot of practice.
32. A woman approaches Jack, asks to have a word with him, says that she's sorry for his loss, that she knew his father, that she's the reason he was in Australia when he died, she was in the hospital, she never saw him, he came to see his daughter, her daughter, Jack says he didn't have a daughter, but the woman says that the strange thing about it is that her daughter was on his plane too, they were in the air for six hours, probably just a few rows apart and they never knew, she was one of the ones who died when they hit the water, that her name was Claire, says she didn't mean to burden him, she says the he needed to know, she's sorry for his loss, she tells Kate that her son is beautiful, Kate thanks her. 33. "I believe I'm the reason he was in Australia when he died." Carole "I'm sorry. I don't understand. Why would he have come to see you?" Jack "Oh, he... he didn't come to see me. I was still in the hospital. I never saw him. He came to see his daughter. My daughter, Mr. Shephard." Carole "My father didn't have a daughter--" Jack "Yes. He did. If you don't believe me, check his phone records. Would you like to know the--the strangest thing about all this, Mr. Shephard? My daughter was on your plane, too. She was on flight 8-1-5. (Crying) You were in the air for six hours, probably just a few rows from her and you never even knew she was your sister. 35. Desmond needs Michael, they all go, Jin tells Sun to leave,  a room is filled with C4 explosives.

1. The reunion is such an iconic scene that we've all been waiting for since Season 1, and the antithesis of the beginning of the Series, just one that we probably all thought would happen at the very end, not in Season 4. 
   
2. I totally knew who Jack's mom, Margo Shephard, was. She was in White Rabbit.
3. Kate looks around when they get off the plane because she's wondering if someone is there to arrested her.
   
4. Karen Decker was Admiral Cain from Battlestar Galactica. Nice!

7. Uh, Kate, I don't know if you've noticed, but Jack and Sawyer are always fighting eachother. Mostly over you. You're part of the problem.
8. There is so much information in the Oceanic press conference scene.

10. I find it hard to believe that anyone buys that Kate was six months pregnant before she got on the plane.
11. When Sun translate the Korean-speaking reporters question, her parents give her a weird look, this is because they do no know that she can speak English. However, she can kind of just pass that off as living on an island for over 100 days with people who are constantly speaking English.
    
12. The whole story of the Oceanic 6 makes no sense.
13. Naveen Andrews' acting in the scene where he sees Nadia is just outstanding. He blinks his eyes as if he wants to see if he's dreaming or not, and he's too much in shock to even kiss her. That's real. It's not a love-story happy-ending reunion that most television shows and movies have. If that really happened, anyone would be too much in shock to even do anything.
14. You can't fool me, I knew exactly who Noor Abed Jaseem was.
15. Sawyer refers to the barracks as New Otherton, which is Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse's nickname for the barracks.
16. From Lostpedia: Hurley's birthday party scene contained the following "Easter eggs": 4 palm trees on the lanai, 8 helium balloons tied by the pool, 15 presents on the lanai table, 16 party hats worn by background individuals, 23 & 42 were the Numbers on the jerseys worn on the 2 boys crossing over the pool right after the DJ was shown.
17. When Hurley's dad, David Reyes, mentions hunting boar on the island, Sayid and Nadia look at eachother as if he knows something in which he shouldn't. This indicates that Hurley has told his dad about the Island, but also that Sayid has told Nadia about the Island, which could mean that he told her everything, and may be why she ultimately died. 
18. Sun is so badass when she goes to stick it to her father. I wish she was like that all the time.
19. Frank says that the boat is the safest place to be. Wrong.
    
20. Jack says that he had a lot of practice with funerals, obviously he means all of the people that died on the island.
21. Jack finding out that Claire is his sister is much like Luke finding out that Leia is his sister in Star Wars.

3.10 Tricia Tanaka is Dead

1. A young boy is setting up tools, Shambala is playing, it's Hurley, he's fixing a car with his dad, David, a Camaro, dad says to try it, but Hugo says it needs a new carburetor, he tries it but it doesn't start, his dad gives him advice.

Hurley, lottery winner, being interviewed in front of Mr. Cluck's by Tricia Tanaka, Randy Nation, old boss now working for him, Hurley purchased the chicken shack, Grand Re-opening, in Diamond Bar, Tricia Tanaka asks Hurley about his good luck, but he says that he's had bad luck, grandpa Tito died of a heart attack, the first house he bought his mom burned down, Johnny ran off with his girlfriend, Starla, a guy jumped off his accountant's roof, Tricia Tanaka isn't happy with the interview, so she goes inside to do some shooting, Hurley is nervous that something bad is going to happen, and then a meteorite hits the building and kills Tricia Tanaka and her crew, Hurley and Randy are okay. 10. Hurley discovers the body that the arm belonged to, wearing a Dharma jumpsuit with The Swan logo on it, Roger Work Man.
11. Sun will only speak to Jin in English, Hurley tells everyone about the van, that they can fix it, for fun, but no one wants to join him, Jin agrees, not knowing what he said.
12. Kate and Sawyer are returning to camp.
13. Hurley tells his mom that Tricia Tanaka is dead and her camera dude, that a meteorite hit Mr. Cluck's, he says that it's all his fault, that he's cursed, has to go to Australia, where the numbers came from, his mom says that he's not cursed, that his dad is back, after 17 years.
14. Roger, Dharma beer, Jin helps Hurley try to fix the van, they take Roger out and are going to try to tip the van over.
15. Charlie asks Desmond when he's going to die, how it's going to happen, Desmond says that it doesn't work that way.
16. Sawyer goes after Hurley, looking for his stuff, Hurley says that Sawyer coming back safely is a sign that things are getting better.
17. Kate tells Sayid about Jack, that he said not to go back, that the zoo where they held them isn't where they live, that they escaped with one of them, Karl, that he said they live on their island, Sawyer let him go, that she owes Jack, that she's going to get help.
18. Hurley is suspicious of his father being back, but Carmen called David because she thought Hurley was in trouble, Hurley wants to get rid of everything, doesn't approve of him being there, shows his dad the car in the garage, he kept the Camaro. From Lostpedia
19. Hulrey, Jin, and sawyer flip the Dharma van over, garbage, recycling inside, they find a map, plans for a dirt road, beer, Roger's head, Hurley tries to start the car, but it doesn't start, Sawyer says that his name isn't Roger Workman, it's Work Man, he was a janitor.

21. Hurley asks Jin if he can fix the van, but he says no. Hurley says that they have to fix it, that they could use a little hope, but Sawyer says that there isn't any hope there.

Hugo's dad takes him to psychic to break the curse, tarot cards, she says he's come into a great deal of money, hasn't brought him happiness, but misfortune, 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42, darkness around the numbers, great tragedy, death surrounds him, that more is coming, the curse can be removed, must be exercised, tells him to take off his clothes, Hurley gets suspicious, thinks dad put her up to it, Hurley offers her $10,000 to tell the truth, she admits, his dad says he's just trying to help. 24. Hurley tells Charlie to stop moping, slaps him, tells him to help him with the car, to stop feeling sorry for himself, to make their own luck, he talks Charlie into helping.

1. The psychic lays down the tarot card for death, but the death card doesn't actually mean death.
2. Best filler episode after worst filler episode, in fact, this is probably my favorite filler, and it has the greatest set-up for something big that happens in the future, that no one could have ever expected, which is Roger Work Man and the DHARMA van.
