4.07 Ji Yeon

1. Keamy tells Frank Lapidus to be ready, he says he will.
2. Frank brings food to the sickbay, Regina is watching the door, reading a book upside down.
3. Sayid asks Frank why they're being held captive, tells him that they had nothing to do with Minkowski's death, that the door was left open, but Frank says it wasn't him, gives them Lima beans, Sayid says he wants to talk to the Captain.
4. Sun says that Sayid and Desmond left 3 days ago, Jin says that maybe they're returning with the ship, that he wants to talk about baby names, he says that if it's a girl, he wants to name her Ji Yeon, but Sun says that it's bad luck to talk about that, that they should wait until they get off the island first.
5. Sun is packing, she's pregnant, off the island, a Korean dubbed version of Exposé plays in the background, she starts to go into labor, calls 911, thinks that something is wrong.
6. Jin is in a rush, goes into a store, to get a panda, says he has to get to the hospital.
7. Kate and Jack are back, Kate tells Sun that Charlotte knocked her out, that she didn't want to explain why she was on her way to a poison gas factory, she says Juliet lied, she told Jack it was a power station, that Charlotte and Daniel were going there to turn it off, to deactivate the gas, Sun asks if she thinks they're going to rescue them, but Kate says they've never talked about it the whole time they've been there.
8. Sayid and Desmond get a note under the sickbay door, Sayid says 3 days ago at Locke's camp, Ben said he had a spy on the boat, the note reads "DON'T TRUST THE CAPTAIN."
9. Sun introduces herself to Daniel, tells him that she's 2 months pregnant, asks about their rescue, but Daniel says that it's not his call.
10. Jin speaks English to Jack, Jack asks Sun how she's feeling, she says the morning sickness has stopped.
11. Sun tells Jin to do what she says and to not ask questions, that he needs to find food for 2 days, and to meet at their tent in 20 minutes, she says that they're going to Locke's camp.
12. Sun gets vitamins from Juliet's tent, but Juliet catches her, says they should have lasted longer, Sun says they're going to Locke's camp, that she doesn't trust the people that have come to the island, but Juliet says Locke doesn't want them to leave the island, that pregnant women don't survive there, she tells her that she's not lying, but Sun says that Claire's baby is fine, that she feels fine, that she doesn't trust her.
13. Sun is in the hospital, the nurse recognizes that she's one of the Oceanic 6, she tries to take Sun's wedding ring off, she says that they remove jewelery, but Sun objects, they give her drugs, the Doctor says the baby is in distress, he asks if there's anyone to contact, her parents, her husband, she says to get Jin.
14. Jin is getting a taxi on the street, he gets a phone call, the taxi drives off with the panda in the back seat, he goes back to get another one, the man at the store says it was the last one, but Jin asks about the one behind the counter, the man says it's on hold, says it's the year of the dragon, but Jin demands it.
15. Kate draws a map to Locke's camp for Sun and Jin, tells Sun she'll give them a head start, but she has to tell Jack, Sun says she'd tell him herself, but he wouldn't understand. From Lostpedia

17. Juliet says no, that they're not going anywhere, it's a bad idea, she tells Jin his wife is sick, that they have to get off the island within 3 weeks, or she'll die, if he lets her go, that Sun is in danger.

20. Jin starts packing his things, is going fishing, Sun tries to stop him, wants to explain, she says it was a long time ago, but Bernie interrupts, wants to go fishing with Jin.
21. Jin and Bernard go fishing, Bernie says that they're the only 2 married couples on the island, that decisions take longer, he tells Jin that Rose has cancer, that she's sick, she's dying, or at least, she was dying, but she says she's better now, that she says it's that place, the island, that he was sure Rose would want to go with Locke when the camps split up, but they stayed with Jack because it was the right thing to do, that Locke is a murderer, and it's all about Karma, they catch a fish, Bernard says they must be the good guys.
22. Sayid and Desmond are getting restless, they hear someone banging on pipes, Ray comes in, he says that the Captain wants to see them, they leave, see that the helicopter is gone, Rays says that Lapidus is running an errand.
23. "What, you think somebody's doing that? Somebody's just banging those pipes again and again?" Desmond "That's exactly what I think." Sayid
24. Regina has a chain wrapped around her, she jumps ship, Desmond and Sayid try to help her, they call for help, try to go after her.

The Captain introduces himself, Captain Gault, says he didn't want to lose anymore of his crew, that they have cabin fever, that it has something to do with the close proximity to the island, that there's a saboteur on board, the crew is working on repairs to the engine, then they'll move to safer waters, his orders from Charles Widmore, says Desmond knows him.

Captain Gault brings them inside, he shows them something, Sayid says it's a Flight Data Recorder, a black box, the Captain says it's from Flight 815, that a salvage vessel retrieved it from bottom of the Ocean, it took considerable amount of Widmore's resources, they found with wreckage of the plane, along with all 324 bodies, that the wreckage was staged, asks what kind of resources and manpower go into pulling off something like that, he says that's exactly why they want Benjamin Linus. 2. Captain Gault seemed to know that Desmond and Charles Widmore know eachother. If he knows that, that means that Charles Widmore knows Desmond was on the island, so, I'm wondering if he really did send him there now, and if he was someone that pushed Desmond along on his path to the island.
3. Jin's grave indicates that he was born on November 27, 1974, and died on September 22, 2004, the day that Oceanic Flight 815 crashed on the island.
4. Sun is the last member of the Oceanic 6 that was revealed.
5. In the novel, several characters commit suicide, at least one of them by jumping off of the raft and into the water.
7. Just a slap? Sun should have knocked Juliet out.
8. If Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse hadn't revealed at the 2007 Comic Con that Michael (Harold Perrineau) hadn't been coming back to the show, and his name hadn't been in the credits in every episode of the season before this one, his reveal and return to the show probably would have been one of the greatest and most shocking ones in the entire series. However, everyone and there mother had anticipated him being the man on the boat, and it was pretty disappointing, in my opinion. I wish they wouldn't have told us.

8. Jin and Sun look at a map, for a new place to live, Jin suggests Albuquerque, New York, but Sun wants to go back to Seoul, Jin says he learned English for her, to go to America, but Sun wants to raise the baby at home.
9. Jack and Juliet get back to the beach, with Charlotte, Daniel, Jack introduces them, says their helicopter took Sayid and Desmond, that they can make arrangements to get off the island, tells them that Kate stayed with Locke.
10. Kate talks to Locke, wants to talk to Miles, but Locke says no, that it's not a democracy.

14. Jack is trying to call the boat, they haven't heard from Sayid, Sun asks if Locke was right.
15. Claire tells Kate that Ben is in Locke's basement, asks her to help with Aaron, but Kate is uncomfortable, she tells Kate to try it sometime, Kate says she's good with Aaron, but Claire says the last thing she thought she'd be good at is being a mum.
16. Kate's lawyer brings a witness in, Jack, the Judge says he's only a character witness.
17. The lawyer asks Jack questions, how they met, Jack says on September 22, 2004, they were both passengers on Oceanic Flight 815, they crash-landed on an island in the South Pacific, he learned she was a fugitive, the Marshal died in the crash, he never asked if she was guilty, just assumed it was a mistake, says that 8 survived the crash, they landed in the water, he was hurt badly, if it weren't for her, he wouldn't have made it to the shore, she took care of them, gave them first-aid, found water, shelter, food, she tried to save the other 2, but Kate stops Jack from talking, says that it has nothing to do with anything.

Daniel and Charlotte are playing cards, Daniel is trying to remember three cards that were turned over, he says they are the Queen of Diamonds, 6 of Clubs, and the 10 of Hearts, but he gets the last one wrong, it's the 5 of Spades, Charlotte says it's not bad, that he made progress, but Daniel says 3 cards isn't progress. 3.16 One of Us

1. Sayid, Kate, Juliet, Jack going back, stop at a stream, going to camp for the night.
2. Jack and Kate go to collect firewood, Jack says he made a deal with them, if he took care of Ben, they'd let him off the island, he did what he was supposed to do, didn't ask questions.
3. Juliet says let's have it, Sayid questions her while they have a moment alone.
4. "I want to know what you people are doing on this Island. Why you're terrorizing us. Making lists. Kidnapping children. I want to know everything. But the first thing I'd like to know is, who are you?" Sayid
5. Juliet, driving up to Mittelos Bioscience, Downtown playing in the car, Rachel is with her, Ethan gets her bags, Richard Alpert tells Rachel they're borrowing her sister for a few months, Juliet is worried about leaving her, but Rachel says the cancer is gone, she's pregnant, Juliet says she'll be back before she gives birth. At Herarat Aviation, Richard says Juliet will be with them for 6 months, that time will fly once she's there, Ethan takes her vitals, Richard says everyone's excited, her research will have impact, gives her a sedative, tranquilizer, says the trip is kind of intense, Juliet says she was okay with signing paper work, agreeing not to talk to anyone for 6 months, no one in medical community heard of Mittelos Bioscience, Richard says she was fine with those things because she knows the place she's going to is special.
11. "Let me ask you, Juliet. You took a woman, your own sister, whose reproductive system was ravaged by chemotherapy, who was sterile. And you made her pregnant. You created life where life wasn't supposed to be. That's a gift, Juliet. You have a gift. And don't you think you're meant to do something significant with it? 15. Sawyer sees that Jack is back, everyone greets eachother, they all embrace, Kate hugs Sawyer, Jack and Sawyer shake hands, Juliet watches from afar, Sawyer spots her, asks what the hell she's doing there.
16. Hurley approaches Juliet sitting alone on the beach, he talks to her, asks if she's one of them, says he doesn't remember her from the dock, when the put bags over their heads, shocked them, Juliet says she had off that day, he asks if she's a doctor, she says that she's more of a researcher, he says that the last one of them who was there, Ethan, the he kidnapped Claire, then Charlie got upset, and he points out where they buried Ethan's body. Juliet says she can't help, that it's time to go home, Ben says her sister won't be giving birth in 3 months, the cancer is back, she'll be dead, shows her reports, x-rays, got them form Mikhail, says she can go home, but if she stays, he'll cure her sister's cancer, Jacob said he would take care of it, if she stays. Jack wants everyone to trust Juliet, Sawyer wants Sayid to question her, but Sayid says he doesn't torture people anymore, but that he doesn't trust her, if she's innocent, why wouldn't she answer his questions, Jack says to give her time, she's afraid, tells them that Locke went with them, destroyed the sub that was going to take him off the island.
20. Claire is bleeding, she collapses in front of everyone.
21. Juliet says she can help Claire, that she did it to her, her immune system is turning on her, it's a reaction to the medication in her blood stream, designed by her to keep her alive, during late stages of the pregnancy, women there can't have babies, mother's body turns on the pregnancy, treat it as a foreign invader, every pregnant woman on the island has died, until Claire, Ethan infiltrated their camp right after the crash, took blood samples, Claire didn't conceive on the island, but her symptoms were consistent with the previous mothers, the kidnapping wasn't supposed to happen, he improvised, kidnapper her, it was never the plan, without the injections, she would've died, she needs the serum, Ethan kept a stash of medical supplies near the caves, she can get them, Jack says go.

Juliet looks at x-rays that Karl developed for her, leaves to go tell Ben he was a tumor, he's reading Carrie by Stephen King, Juliet asks why Ben is scared, he told her no one on the island ever had cancer, said he curer her sister, says he lied to her, asks if he can cure cancer, then why he has it, wants to talk to Rachel, wants to go home, Ben says Rachel is fine, he told her the truth, gave her his word, he says no.
24. Juliet finds the hidden medical stash by a tree, with the same marking the Others gave her on her back, Sayid and Sawyer show up, they followed her, they want answers.
25. "You know its interesting, that you two are now the camp's moral police. I'm curious, Sayid, how long was it before you told everyone on that beach exactly how many people you've tortured in your life. Do they know about Basra? And I'm sure the first thing you did when you got here, James, was to gather everyone in a circle, and tell them about the man you shot in cold blood the night before you got on the plane. Ben tells Mikhail to up-link to Richard in Arcadia Park, Ben says it's live, Richard shows her a newspaper, dated September 22, 2004, Rachel with her son, Ben says 2 years ago her cancer went into complete remission, gave birth to a healthy baby boy, named him Julian, Juliet wants to go home, Ben says when her work is finished, Juliet says there are no more mothers, Ben says they'll find more, maybe even one on the plane.
28. Juliet comes back with the case and the serum, Jack tells Charlie he trusts her, to trust him, she gives Claire a shot, says they'll see results in a few hours.
29. Jack says if it doesn't work, he won't be able to protect her anymore, she'll be on her own.
30. Charlie watches Aaron, Claire wakes up, she's okay.
31. Jack brings Juliet some supplies, he says they're all good people, willing to give her the benefit of the doubt, but he says that eventually they'll need answers, Jack says he trusts her because she wants to go off the island, that she's one of us.
32. "You were there. You were standing right next to me when that submarine exploded. In that moment, I saw it in your eyes. You wanna get off this Island more than anything else in the world. That makes you one of us." Jack
33. Juliet and Ben talk, going over a plan, he tells her to drag Austen to the jungle, handcuff herself to her, tell her she was gassed too, admit it if she catches her in the lie, only want to earn her trust, go back to the beach with them, Ben says he activated the implant in Claire, symptomatic within 48 hours, crisis for her to solve, hide case at Ethan's old drop-point, tell Jack she can save her, he'll see her in a week.

Juliet sitting on a beach, crying, she goes into a building, Ethan passes her in the hallway, she enters a room, takes out a vile, draws something into a syringe, a woman wakes up, it's her sister, Rachel, she appears to have cancer, Juliet says that they don't have to keep doing it, but Rachel asks if she's afraid it won't work, Juliet injects her, opens the curtains in the apartment, they live in Miami, an Oceanic plane passes by. 2. Jack tells Kate to go, tells Tom that Juliet can't fix Ben, not a surgeon.
3. Sawyer beats the crap out of Pickett, Kate and Sawyer run.
4. Juliet, Medical Research Lab of Miami Central University, the bio-research building, Diana from Mittelos Bioscience calls, she has an appointment at 2 with Dr. Alpert, she steals 2 viles marked "Test Sample," while her ex-husband, Edmund, who is there with another woman, Sherry, catches her in the building when she's not supposed to be.
5. Juliet tells Jack about that Kate and Sawyer aren't going to make it back to their side of the island because they're not on that island, they're on a smaller island 2 miles off shore, Jack tells Tom about her plan to kill Ben, Tom tells her to leave.
6. Pickett goes after Kate and Sawyer, who are looking for a boat, Alex comes to save them, she helps them hide in a hole she dug underground.
7. Tom asks Jack if what he said about Juliet is true, Ben wakes up, he says to get Juliet. From Lostpedia

9. Tom gets Juliet, tells her Ben is awake, that he wants to talk to her.
10. Alex has a boat, says that she'll help Sawyer and Kate if they help her with Karl.
11. Jack tells Ben that he stopped the operation, he says that he's been able to hear him for a few minutes, he talks to Juliet alone, Jack gives them 3 minutes.
12. Tom introduces himself to Jack, tells him Juliet and Ben have history.
13. Juliet tells Jack to continue the surgery, that she's going to help Kate and Sawyer escape.
14. Juliet has her meeting with Dr. Alpert, Mittelos Bioscience, Oregon, just outside of Portland, privately funded, means freedom, she asks why they would want her, he says Juliet successfully impregnated a male field mouse, she says it didn't carry the term, he shows her an x-ray of a human womb, Juliet says it's a woman somewhere in her 70s, but Alpert says she's only 26, that he'd give her the complete freedom and money to find out about it, thinks she's special, lead a team, she says her ex-husband wouldn't let her, Alpert says that maybe they could reach out to him on her behalf, she says he would only let her go if he were hit by a bus, she says no to the job, that she's not a leader. Sawyer, Kate and Alex see Aldo guarding a door, reading A Brief History in Time, Alex says that Karl has to be in there, she's looked everywhere else, they play the wookiee prisoner gag, Aldo calls Pickett on the walkie, Kate threatens to shoot Aldo in the knee, he tells her Karl is in the building, in Room 23.
17. Room 23, very loud music, screen, flashing pictures and words, flowers, coins, keyboards, the moon, Gerald DeGroot, "Plant a good seed and you will joyfully gather fruit," "Everything changes," Karl with an IV, wearing some kind of lighted glasses, "We are the causes of out own suffering, "God loves you as he loved Jacob, "Think about your life," Sawyer seems to be hypnotized, transfixed by the screen, but Kate yells at him and he snaps out of it, Alex removes the IV and glasses from Karl. 22. Jack asks why they wouldn't just go to a facility, Tom says because every since the sky turned purple, but then gets interrupted by Jack nicking an artery and the heart monitor beeping.
23. Sawyer, Kate and Alex take Karl to Alex's boat, Pickett shows up, is going to kill Sawyer, but so does Juliet and she kills Pickett, tells them to leave, but Alex can't go, she says goodbye to Karl.
24. Kate tells Jack that they're safe, that the blonde woman helped them, she tells him the story from the day of the crash, he tells her to promise she'll never come back there for him, Kate, Sawyer and Karl leave Alcatraz island. From Lostpedia

1. Kate tells Jack the same story that he told her the first time they met, in The Pilot, Part 1.
2. When reversed, a voice repeats a phrase in Room 23, "Only fools are enslaved by time and space," which clearly foreshadows upcoming events in the series, including the episode which starts it, Flashes Before Your Eyes.
3. Juliet says that she's been on the island 3 years, 2 months, 28 days. That would make her arrival to the island September 5, 2001.
